OUR HABITS n getting rid of them.

As long as we remain ignorant of our power to chose our actions, we will remain slave to our habits. There is nothng like "Sanskar". There is nothing like "Addiction". And there is nothing like "Habit". Be it good or bad. We've forgotten that , what we are about to do in the next momet is the choice that we have made for ourselves. If we become aware of this power to chose we will stop referring to a past action and consequently, we wont fall prey to the habits- a monster of our own imagination. Habit's like a parasite that grows and feeds on our own weeknesses.

And we forget that we dont 've to get rid of our bad habits or develop good ones. Habit be it good or bad is a result of our own incapibility. Developing a good habit is like transferring yourself from serving an evil master to a good one. But in both the cases its not us who Rules. We just serve! and when a situation comes thats quite novel in nature and ugly in appearance, we end up calling it a hard time. Why hard? Because, we are weak. We are waiting for instructions from our master, but it remains silent. No past actions of self or of others to refer to! And we find it hard to learn what to do. We look into our heart for answers now.... but our own conscious has stopped talking to us because we have stopped listening. We have stopped believing in ourselves because all this while we have been doing things out of our habit. We have stopped believing that we can be, do or achieve anything we wish to and get thru any obstacle just by being ourselves all the time- Our Devine Selves.

And we understand that there nothing to get rid of any more. Habits are nothing but an easier choice made by us because its practised and known to us. Just by becoming aware of this power we can see the real face of habit- a giant nothingness of its so called might. A glorification of our own weakness.

We have glorified this weakness ( not wanting to decide but to repeat our acts) of ours in several other ways too. They are- Maya, Circumstances, A bad phase of life... and the list of such excuses is endless. Its high time that we took charge of our own lives, and of each and every moment of it. its high time we took responsibility of our own actions and decided them on the basis of good and virtuous, strengthening and empowering, and ultimately, leading us to the eternal Bliss.
